The purpose of Bernicia using this technology is to support any reviews of your property condition, repair requests, queries or complaints. We will use the Visual Remote Assistant (VRA) to view live feed images through your device. Static photographs or videos may be required to be captured and whilst all efforts will be made to ensure no personal data will be caught, there may be occasions where personal data is captured in photographs or videos. Any photographs and videos will be held securely in your property record and will only be used to evidence the issue raised. The legal basis for processing the personal data is for the performance of a contract that we, Bernicia, have with you by way of your tenancy agreement. Any photographs or videos retained may be held for up to six years and will not be used for any other purpose.
